Liza Jane - a film about a song, with Emily Cohen

Show Notes

Emily Cohen runs a community radio station in the state of Wyoming called the Jackson Hole Community Radio. She started as a DJ and after a few months became the executive director.

This is a fascinating interview about her role as the director and producer of a film about the song Liza Jane, a tune that has been passed back and forth between black and white musicians since the 1800s. Liza Jane is perhaps the most recorded song in America.

Emily has worked in teaching, city planning and ecological design. She has always been fascinated by communities and how they live and grow and how we design them so that they are more environmentally friendly.

Emily is a great example of "just try things"!
